Sparks fly between the three as the network prepares for big changes, and both the news and Jane must decide between style and substance.

Welcome to episode# 46 as we make fun and put into our hatebook, the 1983 hit  #57 on the list: Mean Girls (Mark Waters, 2004)

Summary: Raised in the African bush country by her zoologist parents, Cady Heron thinks she knows all about the “survival of the fittest”. But the law of the jungle takes on a whole new meaning when the home-schooled 16-year old enters public high school for the first time. Trying to find her place between jocks, mathletes, and other subcultures, Cady crosses paths with the meanest species of all – the Queen Bee, aka the cool and calculating Regina George, leader of the school’s most fashionable clique, the Plastics. When Cady falls for Regina’s ex-boyfriend Aaron Samuels, though, the Queen Bee is stung – and she schemes to destroy Cady’s social future. Cady’s own claws soon come out as she leaps into a hilarious “Girl World” war that has the whole school running for cover.

Welcome to episode# 45 as we hit  #58 on the list: Zelig (Woody Allen, 1983)

Summary: Fictional documentary about the life of human chameleon Leonard Zelig, a man who becomes a celebrity in the 1920s due to his ability to look and act like whoever is around him. Clever editing places Zelig in real newsreel footage of Woodrow Wilson, Babe Ruth, and others.

Keefe and Chris bring you a Woody Allen film that didn’t totally gag us.   Great visuals, and interesting story.  I can say a somewhat positive viewing..oh and Woody doesn’t talk in the film very much…..which my be a cause to celebrate.

Welcome to episode# 44 as we hit  #59 on the list: Toni Erdmann (Maren Ade, 2016)

Summary: Winfried doesn’t see much of his working daughter Ines. He pays her a surprise visit in Bucharest, where she’s busy as a corporate strategist. The geographical change doesn’t help them to see more eye to eye. Practical joker Winfried annoys his daughter with corny pranks and jabs at her routine lifestyle of meetings and paperwork. Father and daughter reach an impasse, and Winfried agrees to go home to Germany. Enter Toni Erdmann: Winfried’s flashy alter ego. Disguised in a tacky suit, weird wig and fake teeth, Toni barges into Ines’ work circle, claiming to be her CEO’s life coach. As Toni, Winfried doesn’t hold back, and Ines meets the challenge. The harder they push, the closer they become. In all the madness, Ines begins to see that her eccentric father deserves a place in her life.

Keefe, Chris, and Paxton…..Lets us say…We are VERY SORRY if you choose to watch this…. As we talk about who or how this made the list.  Besides one great view in the film…..there is a whole lotta bad…..and PAxton can express that the best.

Welcome to episode #42 as we jump the world of reality in the the 61 position of our list.  TEAM AMERICA by Trey Parker 2004

Summary: The North American counter-terrorism force Team America attacks a group of terrorists in Paris. Later, the leader of the organization, Spottswoode, invites the famous Broadway actor Gary Johnston to join his world police and work undercover in Cairo, infiltrating a terrorist organization in the hope they will disclose their plan of destroying the world. Team America destroy the cell of terrorists, but then the Panama Canal is attacked by the criminals as a payback. Gary feels responsible for the death of many innocents and leaves the counter-terrorism organization. When the leader of North Korea, Kim Jong Il, joins a group of pacifist actors and actresses with the intention of using weapons of massive destruction, Team America tries to avoid the destruction of the world.

Keefe, Chris, Matt bring you the deep and thought provoking insights into the physiological thriller…… Who am I kidding….. There is one thing this film will teach you, It is how to say ‘MERICA over and over and over again.

Welcome to episode #41 and to the spot 62 on the list What We Do in the Shadows (Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi, 2014)

Summary: Follow the lives of Viago (Taika Waititi), Deacon (Jonathan Brugh), and Vladislav (Jemaine Clement) – three flatmates who are just trying to get by and overcome life’s obstacles-like being immortal vampires who must feast on human blood. Hundreds of years old, the vampires are finding that beyond sunlight catastrophes, hitting the main artery, and not being able to get a sense of their wardrobe because they don’t have reflections-modern society has them struggling with the mundane like paying rent, keeping up with the chore wheel, trying to get into nightclubs, and overcoming flatmate conflicts.

Keefe, Paxton and Chrison another newer comedy that we seem to have missed.   Filled with tales of old and lots of vampire stuff.   Come see how new age vamps live their lives in a mortal world.

Welcome to episode #40 and to the list at 63..Arsenic and Old Lace (Frank Capra 1944)

Summary: Mortimer Brewster is a newspaperman and author known for his diatribes against marriage. We watch him being married at city hall in the opening scene. Now all that is required is a quick trip home to tell Mortimer’s two maiden aunts. While trying to break the news, he finds out his aunts’ hobby; killing lonely old men and burying them in the cellar. It gets worse.

Keefe, Paxton and Chris dive into a stage to movie classic where the dark humor never stops.   AS this is a foundation of this style of comedy, it is filled with amazing acting and quick one liners.   It’s to die for…..see what I did there…
